This wagon was bought used from Lynch in Burlington, Wisconsin, on November 18, 1993, with 81,800 miles on it. From that day every job was typed into a log, from oil changes to a new rear hatch, for almost thirty years.

It was driven regularly for a decade, gaining about 114,000 miles by the end of 2004. After that it was barely driven: about 1,400 miles between 2005 and the last entry in 2022, at 197,435 miles. It was bought by its current owner on October 17, 2025.

2026

  • Sep 22, 2026198,378 miShop visit: rebuilt the carburetor and installed a new air filter; repaired a transmission fluid leak, replaced the transmission pan and refilled with new transmission fluid. Compression test: very good.

The hope was that this would finally end the transmission fluid leaks. He also greased every fitting and washed the car, all at no charge.
